Google Allo is Google’s smart and instant messaging app developed for iOS mobile operating systems and Android. For Android users it has an available web client on Google Chrome. Google Allo was announced in May 2016 at Google’s developer conference but it was released in September 2016. In the app only phone numbers and not email accounts or social media accounts are used as identifiers allowing the users to exchange files, messages, images and voice notes. You can express yourself in a better way using stickers, huge emojis, doodles and text. There is a virtual assistant included that gives instant replies and suggestions in a conversational manner.

Smart Reply with Single Click
You can respond in your own personal style without typing. The conversation can be kept moving through Smart Reply with a single click with emoji and text responses according to your personality traits.
Emphasize Your Point With Text
The size of the text can be adjusted to give your words more meaning. When you strongly want to get your point across you can slide to shout or down to whisper depending on your emotions.
Get creative and turn your photos into a piece of art by adding some text or doodling on them. This can be done by making memes of your friends or drawing smiley faces and adding color to them.
Emojis and Stickers
Google Allo has stickers designed by artists and studios across the world. These unique stickers can add a fun element to your conversation and at the same time make it more dramatic when you feel words are not enough.
Answers To Your Queries
Google Assistant is there to help at any time giving you answers to your queries, from nearby restaurants to movie tickets to weather or for that matter any information you require. You can even chat on a one to one basis with Google Assistant. Whether it is the latest score of a game or your flight timing you can get it all. In fact the more you use Google Assistant the more helpful it becomes.
Search for Conversation
Another feature of Google Assistant in Allo is that it allows you to search within conversations, tell jokes, play games and much more. The other person who you are conversing with can see all and even join in if he desires.
With Google Allo whatever you want to say you can say it in Incognito mode privately. This mode comes with an end to end encryption and you have the option of expiring your chats keeping them discreet and controlling your messages.
If you have a root enabled file explorer and root access like MiXplorer you can use Google translator to actually get automatic translation of messages and with Google Assistant you can enable auto-completion of conversations.
A recent development is that Google’s Allo can now run on Chrome Web Browser getting Google Assistant on your desktop, but you have to scan a QR code to install it only on your Android phone. This feature is not available to iPhone users at present.
