Sidi Saiyyed Mosque

The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque is one of the most famous mosques in the Ahmedabad city. This mosque is situated close Lal Darwaza in Ahmedabad. This splendid mosque was built in the year of 1573 by Sidi Saiyyed that was vassal of Sultan Ahmed Shah. It is most famed by its splendid “Jali”. Hutheesing Jain Temple

This remarkably lovely temple created out of white marble has been blessed with many Jain families, generation after generation. It was constructed in the year of 1848 A.D. at an evaluated cost of 10 lakh rupees by a rich trader Sheth Hutheesing as a commitment to the 15th Jain tirthankar, Shri Dharmanatha. Traditional craftsman working in stone belonged to the Salat and Sonpura communities. The Salat community built masterpieces of architecture, varying from palaces, forts to temples. The construction of the Hutheesing Jain temple is assigned to Premchand Salat.

Vechaar Utensils Museum

The Vechaar Utensils Museum was constructed in the year of 1981 within the locality of Vishalla Village Restaurant, was discovered by architect Mr. Surender C. Patel. VECHAAR is an acronym for Vishalla Environmental Centre for Heritage of Architecture, Art and Research. It is an endeavor to adore and maintain our rich cultural heritage and unique artistic skills and wisdom of our artisan. Calico Textile Museum

Calico Museum of Textiles is one of the best museums in India. It was initiated in the year of 1949 by the Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru. This museum is home of the unique collections of textiles, dating back to the 17th century. It is currently placed in the Sarabhai Foundation. This museum is the world’s best museum of textiles.
