The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test commonly known as NEET-PG is a national level postgraduate entrance examination for admission to medical courses like MD/MS/MDS/M.Ch in government or private medical colleges in India being run by the approval of MCI/DCI under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
National Board of Examinations will conduct the NEET PG examination for the year 2019. NEET PG 2019 schedule has been released by the National Board of Examinations on its official website www.nbe.edu.in. The exam will be conducted on January 6, 2019 in an online mode only. Candidates can register for NEET exam from 31st October 2018 to 27 November 2018. Admission to 50% All India Quota and 50% State Quota seats will be available in Central and Deemed Universities and Armed Forces Medical Service Institutes through NEET PG 2019.
According to the detailed schedule released by NBE on its official website www.nbe.edu.in, candidates can download the official admit card tentatively from 24th December 2018. Cut off for the year 2019 will be published along with the result in the third week of January 2019. The counseling will tentatively start in the second week of March 2019. Candidates would be able to check the official answer keys on the NBE website, a week after the NEET-PG exam date.
NEET PG 2019 Counseling for MD/MS and PG Diploma courses will be held in the second week of March 2019 through online mode only.

Candidates with the required percentile will be eligible to participate in the NEET PG Counseling 2019. After succesful registeration on the MCC website, the candidates need to fill in the choice of courses and colleges in the counseling process. Admission will depend on the rank, filled preferences and availability of seats in NEET PG 2019. The documents required at the time of counseling are as follows:

The counseling process will be organized by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) on behalf of MCC (Medical Counseling Committee. Counseling for the state quota seats will be managed by the counseling authorities of the respective states.

The medium of instruction will be English only. According to the scheme of examination, a total of 300 questions will be asked where each question will carry a weightage of 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for an incorrect answer. NEET PG 2019 Syllabus will comprise primarily of the subjects that the candidates have been taught during MBBS. It will include clinical, pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects.
